Please join Triangle Duke Black Alumni at the Nasher Museum to engage Duke's undergraduate and graduate students for a two-hour career event. This program will include a one-hour panel discussion followed by a second hour of professional networking. The panelists, who are industry leaders in finance, medicine, law and the arts, will discuss how to chart a career while maintaining one's well-being. The definition of well-being includes mental, spiritual and physical health, as well as creative pursuits and enjoyment of the arts. The panelists will offer their perspectives as industry leaders of African descent. Alumni who attend this event should be committed to Triangle Duke Black Alumni's mission to mentor and provide support to our Duke students. One of the Nasher Museum's central focuses is to collect and present work from diverse artists who have been traditionally marginalized and excluded from museums. Sponsors for this event are Triangle Duke Black Alumni, the Nasher Museum, Duke's Mary Lou Williams Center for Black Culture at Duke, Duke Student Affairs, Duke Arts and Duke's Career Center. Free parking. Space is limited. Free for students. $10 for Duke alumni. Registration link coming soon.
