Duke Lemur Center Museum Open House

Meet your ancient relatives at the Duke Lemur Center Museum! Check out our new exhibit that traces primates from their lemur-like beginnings to their modern diversity, then take a peek behind the scenes at the museum. See real fossils and bones in our research collections from around the world. You can explore the drawers with our curator and collections manager, then see how we find fossils in the field and transform them into research specimens in our fossil preparation lab. If you have a fossil-enthusiast in your life, we're excited to meet them and answer all of their questions.

NOTE: THE MUSEUM IS NOT LOCATED AT THE MAIN DUKE LEMUR CENTER CAMPUS. WE ARE LOCATED ON BROAD STREET, AROUND THE CORNER FROM MONUTS AND DOWN THE STREET FROM JOE VAN GOGH.
