Please join us for a thought-provoking discussion of Prisoners of Congress with author Norman E. Donoghue II (JD '69). Mr. Donoghue, an independent scholar of 18th Century Quakers, will share the little-known story of the 17 Quakers who in 1777 were arrested by the Continental Congress and Pennsylvania authorities who made no criminal allegations, denied the men any hearing to defend themselves and stripped them of the sacred rights of habeas corpus.
