Plants are amazing organisms. Many are able to clone themselves from a stem cutting. Beth Hall Hoffman, Paul J. Kramer Plant Collections Manager at Duke Gardens, will take you through the process and timing of collecting, preparing, and growing new woody plants from cuttings. Gain hands-on practice and leave with the skills to try on your own. Meet on the stone patio behind the Doris Duke Center. This will be a small group program that takes place seated with some standing hands-on activities indoors.

Fee: $28; 20% discount for Duke Gardens members with discount code. Registration is at https://rsvp.duke.edu/vrbobR . Parking fees apply ($2/hr.). gardens.duke.edu. Information: 919-668-1707, gardenseducation@duke.edu
