Nicholas Net Impact is hosting a Sustainable Investing Career Chat on Wednesday 2/21 with Marilyn Ceci, Managing Director and Global Head of ESG Debt Capital Markets at J.P. Morgan. She will share her insights of sustainable investing in the banking industry and discuss career opportunities in the space. There will be a 20-minute Q&A session after her speech. More about Marilyn Ceci:

Marilyn Ceci is a Managing Director at JP Morgan and is the Senior Advisor to the bank's Center for Carbon Transition. She is responsible for building out the strategy for a new business that is placing ESG at the forefront across clients in all sectors and products. Prior to her current role, Ms. Ceci was Global Head of ESG Debt Capital Markets at JP Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank. In that capacity, she built out JP Morgan's global ESG Debt Capital Markets franchise, which has consistently ranked #1 in underwriting league tables.

Ms. Ceci co-authored the Green Bond Principles, which serve as the market standard for issuing Green Bonds. She served as the Vice Chair of the Executive Committee for the first five years since the creation of the Principles and served as a member of the Executive Committee for seven years while also co-chairing many committees such as the New Markets Taskforce, Advisory Council, and the Sustainability-Linked Bond Working Group, where she was involved in drafting the Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles.
