CryoTEM History and Technology

Cryogenic transmission electron microscopy (CryoTEM) is increasingly utilized by structural and cellular biologists to determine structures, conformations, and interactions of biomolecules at high resolution. This 2-hour virtual lecture/discussion will cover all components of a TEM from top to bottom with a focus on technology advancements for life science applications.
This event is part of a CryoTEM week 3-lecture series organized by the Shared Materials Instrumentation Facility (SMIF) and Thermo Fisher, led by Thermo Fisher Field Applications Engineers.
