Wednesday, March 20, 2024
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Cryogenic transmission electron microscopy (CryoTEM) is increasingly utilized by structural and cellular biologists to determine structures, conformations, and interactions of biomolecules at high resolution.

This 2-hour virtual lecture/discussion will cover sample preparation methods and technology for the three major life science TEM techniques: Single Particle Averaging (SPA), Tomography, and microcrystal Electron Diffraction (mED).

This event is part of a CryoTEM week 3-lecture series organized by the Shared Materials Instrumentation Facility (SMIF) and Thermo Fisher, led by Thermo Fisher Field Applications Engineers.

Registration is required. You may register for each lecture separately. Deadline to register is March 14th.
