Duke Cinematic Arts ROUNDTABLE with Dan Levinson (Duke '80, PPS)
With an Emmy nomination (Meltdown: Three Mile Island, 2022) and a Sundance Grand Jury Prize (Dina, 2007) to its name, Moxie Pictures (moxiepictures.com) has emerged as a leader in the documentary industry. Cinematic Arts ROUNDTABLE is a unique, two-part opportunity to learn about the industry from the President of Moxie Pictures, Dan Levinson.

Free and open to the public.
A screening and discussion of Moxie Pictures productions including excerpts from films and examples of the "sizzle reels" that have sold their shows in the past. Dan Levinson will offer comments and take questions in an informal setting.

"What's Up Doc?"
Rubenstein Arts Center, Room 234
Open to participating students only.
"What's up Doc?" is a chance to have your documentary proposals workshopped by Dan Levinson. Students who wish to participate, please submit your proposals By Wednesday, November 1, 11:59 PM EDT to dhv2@duke.edu. Eight proposals will be selected for workshopping. All applicants are welcome to attend.
