CliftonStrengths: Using Strengths to Close the Search

Prerequisite: Your Success for Strengths session at Orientation (attended or watched recording)
Materials: CliftonStrengths for Student Report (log into gallup.com to view or download)
This workshop will use information from the Gallup CliftonStrengths results and report that was part of orientation.
Closing the search is the stage of a job or internship search where you may:
• wait to hear an employer's decision after rounds of interviews
• receive an offer or rejection
• choose to negotiate
• accept or decline an offer
Using your CliftonStrengths, you'll learn ways to utilize your Strengths in this stage that often calls for resilience, strong communication, and strategic decision making.
*This session is helpful for all students, not just those currently in the Close the Search stage.
