Lennie Amores, associate professor of Spanish at Albright College, teaches all levels of Spanish language and Peninsular culture courses. Her current book project, Race Matters in Spanish Culture: Conversations for the Classroom, explores the history and hot topics concerning race in Spain and teaching ideas at all levels of the Spanish curriculum. Similarly, she has collaborated with Janice Rodríguez to create Nuestra comunidad latina, an open, content-forward introduction to Spanish from the context of U.S. Latinx culture. She and Gonzalo Baptista, are developing Ecologías hispanas, a second-semester textbook exploring the diverse natural and social environments of the Hispanic world.
