This 2010 film directed by Philippe Le Guay explores the socioeconomic and linguistic differences in the 1960s between the main floors of an upper-class Parisian building and the "chambres de bonne" or maids' chambers of the top floor. A mix of both French and Spanish throughout the film makes for a lively dialogue, and the film will be subtitled in English, so all are welcome! (In the event of inclement weather, screening will be in Languages 114.)
