Please join us on Wednesday, November 17, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., for the 2021 Blackburn Fiction Reading, in Zener Auditorium, Room 130 of the Rueben-Cooke Building (formerly Sociology-Psychology Building). Caryl Phillips, the Duke English Blackburn Writer-in-Residence, Yale Professor of English, and author whose most recent publication is A View of the Empire at Sunset, will be joined by Mesha Maren, Duke English Assistant Professor and author of Sugar Run, and JP Gritton, Duke English Assistant Professor, and author of Wyoming. This trio of novelists will discuss and read from their works. This Blackburn joint literary reading is ideal for anyone interested in creative writing.
