These comic books represent a small selection of a 5000-piece comic book collection that was assembled in Pittsburgh, PA by brothers Ross, Scott, and William Dawson. Most of these comic books were purchased from "Impossible Dreams Comics" in Bridgeville, PA, which is celebrating its 28th year in business on June 6th, 2022.

The four major "ages" of comic books are

• Golden Age (1938 - 1956)
• Silver Age (1956 - 1970)
• Bronze Age (1970 - 1985)
• Modern Age (1985 - Present Day)
The majority of the comic books in on display are from the Bronze Age & Modern Age of comic books. Also featured throughout the display are trading cards from "Marvel Universe - Series 1 (1990)".

William Dawson studied music at The University of Memphis and graduated from North Carolina Central University (Summa Cum Laude) with a degree in Elementary Education and is a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP). . William has engineered and produced over 150 records, worked as an elementary school music teacher and middle school band director, and is the author of Ukulele for Music Teachers & Music Therapists. William has been performing music for patients, families and staff at Duke University Hospital since 2009.
