Paperhand Puppet Intervention: The Big Tent Cabaret Road Show
Sorry, we regret to announce that Paperhand has canceled this show due to a scheduling conflict. Join Paperhand Puppet Intervention, a beloved Triangle troupe who pack theaters and festivals in 1,000-plus crowds to see their creations. If you're thinking Punch & Judy or Ernie and Bert, think again. Paperhand builds spider-size puppets, people-size puppets and puppets as tall as houses, all bearing big messages about acting responsibly and compassionately toward nature and our fellow humans. Even tiny children are dazed by their awe-inspiring visuals. But older children and adults are moved by the deeper messages. The show will be inside the Doris Duke Center, followed by a free participatory parade with Paperhand through the Gardens. 420 Anderson St., Durham.
