Summer Days, Nasher Nights: Dinner and a Movie

Tonight's show is "Eat Drink Man Woman" (1994, 124 min, Taiwan, directed by Ang Lee). This Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Film looks at ethnic and sexual conflicts in a Chinese family, as long-time widower and master chef Chu lovingly cooks large Sunday dinners for his three daughters.
