Mock Interview Day

Need to brush up on your interviewing skills as you begin applying for full-time jobs or internships? Never had to participate in a formal interview, and find the idea overwhelming or awkward? Just want some practice and honest feedback when it comes to presenting yourself professionally and answering questions out loud? Join the Career Center for Mock Interview Day! Practice your interviewing skills and get valuable feedback from actual recruiters! Mock interviews will last 30-45 minutes and include a post-interview discussion and critique. You may choose between a behavioral or case mock interview. Please be aware that Mock Interview Day is for students seeking employment in companies or organizations, not for professional school interview preparation. Register through eRecruiting beginning at midnight on Aug. 31: 1) Log in to Duke eRecruiting (http://duke.experience.com) *If you are a new user, click "Get Password." A password has been pre-populated for you. Your username is a combination of "duke" and your NetID (example: dukeabc123) 2) Search under Employer Name: "Duke University Career Center Mock Interviews"3) There will be one current job listed - click the link and select "Mock Interview Day Fall 2011" 4) Pick your desired interview type (case or behavioral) and time slot from the interviewing schedules on the right side of the page.
