"Neural Learning Rules in the Cerebellum"

Event Image
Tuesday, September 25, 2012
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Jennifer Raymond, PhD, Associate Professor of Neurobiology, Stanford University School of Medicine
Neurobiology Invited Seminar Series

Dr. Raymond's research focuses on the cerebellum, a brain structure that is critical for the control of movements. She uses behavioral, electrophysiological, and computational approaches in combination with the latest molecular-genetic techniques to analyze how the cerebellar circuit is specialized to support motor learning, the process by which movements become smooth and accurate with practice.
