There is a lot of buzz in the media about Big Data. It has been stated previously in other forums and repeated in the October 2012 issue of Harvard Business Review that Big Data is different from other data in that it characterized by greater: Volume, Variety and Velocity. There is a discussion around the need to invest in technologies to capitalize on this type of data. What about Traditional Data? Isn't there a need to exploit that any more?
