Duke Arts Festival

Starting on Monday, October 29, Duke Arts Festival student performances will begin and continue throughout the week on East and West campus, inside and out. Students will entertain in the Great Hall and East Campus Marketplace, at the West Campus bus stop and on the bus. Poets will surprise von der Heyden patrons with poetry readings. Student soloists and ensembles are scheduled to fill the quad in front of Perkins Library at lunch time with classical and chamber music. Don¿t miss what has become a fall arts mainstay of campus life -- the 2012 Duke Arts Festival. Schedule is subject to change. Outdoor events are rain or shine. Keep up-to-date on performances on facebook.Monday performances: duARTS, Celebrate the arts all week with duARTS, Noon, The Plaza (canceled); Jackie and Sam, Violin duet, Noon, Bryan Center; Ophelia and the Quantum Yonders, Classic folk, pop, & rock , 4:30pm, Bryan Center; dupe - Duke University Percussion Ensemble, Music, 5pm, Bryan Center; Momentum Dance, Cultural Dance, 6:30pm, Great Hall.
