50th Anniversary of Black Students at Duke

The Duke and Durham communities will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first black students to integrate the university. U.S. Sen. William "Mo" Cowan '91 (D-Mass.) will give a keynote address on education. Join us for this special presentation in Page Auditorium from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served in the Great Hall following the presentation. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. You may reserve a ticket through our website below. These tickets may then be picked up at Page Auditorium after 1 p.m. on the day of the event. You can also order tickets through Duke Box Office (919.684.4444). Free parking is available in the H Parking Lot (corner of Anderson and Yearby (a map is here).
