Laura Lieber Presents @ "Culinaria Queries: Is Food Art?"

Professor Laura Lieber joins an exciting group of panelists to discuss the question "Is Food Art?" in this exciting series brought by the Southern Food & Beverage Museum. There has been a recent flurry of exploration about the question of ¿Is Food Art?¿ and SoFAB is ready to enter into the fray through a series of panels taking place around the country in 2013. The age old question of what qualifies as art will be framed in a new perspective, and the series will feature panelists of various disciplines and perspectives to offer their thoughts on the matter.The first panel discussion will take place at Duke University on April 11, 2013 in partnership with the Triangle University Food Studies Group. Panelists include Kevin Callaghan (Chef of Acme Food and Beverage Co.), Bernie Hermand (University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill), Sharon Holland (Duke University), Laura Lieber, (Duke University), and Liz Williams (Director of the Southern Food and Beverage Museum).
