Susanna Schellenberg - "The Particular Elements of Perceptual Experience"
She received her from Ph.D. from University of Pittsburgh. Susanna Schellenberg works in epistemology, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language. Her publications include "Perceptual Content Defended", Noûs, 45 (4), Dec. 2011: 714-50; "The Situation-Dependency of Perception", Journal of Philosophy, 105 (2), Feb. 2008: 55-84; "Action and Self-Location in Perception", Mind, 116 (463), 2007: 603-32; "Ontological Minimalism about Phenomenology", Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, 83 (1), July 2011: 1-40. Recently her work has focused on perceptual experience and its role in justification, the structure of mental content, and the nature of evidence. She is also working on the role of imagination and mental capacities in cognition. Before joining the faculty at Rutgers she was at the Research School of Social Sciences at the ANU.
