Dr. Jack Preiss - Our Voices: A Special 50th Commemorative Evening

Dr . Jack Preiss, Professor Emeritus and former Durham City Council member, played a central role in racially integrating the undergraduate student body and desegregating Duke's Health System. As a leader in the Civil Rights movement, he was also engaged in creating a better Durham for all of its residents. Please join us as Dr. Preiss shares his experiences. The event will take place at Duke University School of Nursing, Peter & Ginny Nicholas Auditorium & Learning Center, 5:30 pm reception and 6:00 pm program.
