Music Lecture: "The Passion of the Passacaille: Wagner, Ravel, and Parsifal"

Michael James Puri is Associate Professor of Music at the University of Virginia. He specializes in French and German music of the 19th and 20th centuries, and is the author of _Ravel the Decadent: Memory, Sublimation, and Desire_(Oxford University Press, 2012). In 2013-14, Prof. Puri will be a Fellow at the National Humanities Center.
