Tuesday, May 15, 2012
11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Marc Diamond, MD, Associate Professor of Neurology, Washingtion University in St. Louis
Ruth K and Shepard Broad Seminar Series on Neurobiology and Disease

Dr. Diamond's laboratory is focused on basic research to identify therapeutic targets and develop small molecules to treat human disease, especially targeting abnormal protein conformational change, which plays a key role in neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington disease (HD) and tauopathies. He uses a range of approaches: biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, and animal models.
