Profiles in Sexuality Research with Kathleen Pryer, Professor of Biology,who will talk about her work and why gender diversity in ferns is critical to their evolutionary success. Dr. Pryer's latest work includes the discovery of a new fern genus named in honor of Lady Gaga to celebrate her articulate and fervent defense of equality and individual expression in today's society. Profiles in Sexuality Research is an on-going series to introduce students to the many ways that Duke faculty study LGBT issues and sexuality.
