Pecha Kucha Night

What is PKN? You are given a set amount of time to show/discuss a set number of images or slides. Usually the format will follow 20 images x 20 seconds each. This means each presenter can show work or discuss ideas for no more or less than 6 minutes and 40 seconds total. Photographers can show their photos, performers can perform and prepare 20 slides to project onto the wall or themselves as they perform, filmmakers can screen a 6 minute and 40 sec film or clip. The format is very flexible and can be creatively adapted to all disciplines. Come hang out with other creative individuals from the Duke community, exchange creative ideas, and have some free food. PKN is a monthly event at the Duke Arts Annex.
