Duke Med Elementary - 3rd Grade Teaching

3rd grade students from a local elementary school come to Duke to learn about the cardiovascular system. This event includes lunch, a short lecture, and cardiovascular related activities for the elementary students aided by Duke volunteers. Lastly, students are given the opportunity to examine and touch cow hearts to apply their new knowledge. Let us know if you would like to help.
