Madagascar, Lemurs, and Spies

The Duke Conservation Society will be screening the BBC documentary "Madagascar, Lemurs, and Spies" followed by a question and answer session with Dr. Erik Patel (Post Doctoral Project Director, Duke Lemur Center, SAVA Conservation Project), who is featured in the film. The film includes a discussion of the Gibson Guitar issue with illegal rosewood logging, EIA's undercover work in Madagascar, and conservation of critically endangered lemurs particularly the silky sifaka in Marojejy National Park.
