From Chapel Hill, NC to Sousse, Tunisia: A Duke Graduate's Journey to Arabia
After graduating in May 2012, Dania Toth moved to Sousse, Tunisia, an ancient Punic and Roman fortress and now the country's third largest city on the Mediterranean coast. She is now serving as the coordinator of the American Corner Sousse, an educational and cultural engagement center run and sponsored by AMIDEAST and the US Department of State. Dania graduated from Duke with a B.A. double major in Public Policy and Arabic, but her knowledge of case endings has been downgraded to "feeling guilty".
