Genomics: How New Discoveries Impact Nursing

The purpose of this activity is to enhance the nurse's core knowledge of genetics and of how innovative genomic findings are impacting treatment options and patient care. Those who attend the genomics NGR (DEV1039) will receive 1.0 contact hours. Duke University Health System Clinical Education & Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Successful completion is defined as (but may not be limited to) 100 percent attendance, full participation and satisfactory completion of all related activities, and completion and return of evaluation at conclusion of the educational activity.
