These touchable fabric works are crafted by Zimbabwean artists and are inspired by Zimbabwean folklore. The works are on view at HAND's Touchable Gallery at Duke Eye Center through February 28.Zimbabwe Artists Project (ZAP) is a non-profit organization based in Portland, Oregon that works exclusively with artists from the Weya area of Zimbabwe. Founded at the request of women artists, ZAP's goal is to help the artists build their small businesses in a sustainable way.Works are available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Zimbabwe Artists Project.
