All Day
The Duke Center for Science Education

Summer positions are currently available for the 2013 camp season which runs June 9 - June 30. The Duke Center for Science Education is offering a 2-week residential summer camp for bright, curious, current 7th, 8th and 9th graders who like science but have not yet chosen it as a career path. Summer Science Sleuths at Duke is a recreational, science-based camp that seeks to connect science, medicine and everyday life through fun, hands-on activities. General Job Descriptions: For each grade level (20 campers), (6) Instructors will work with an Instructional Coordinator and an Instructional Support person to lead science-based activities. Each member of the instructional team will have at least one day to be the Lead Instructor to lead the delivery of content and activities with support from the rest of the team. Instructors who are not in the lead role on any given day will work with the campers in small groups under the direction of the Lead Instructor of the day.
