Open Access / Open House

The Forum for Scholars and Publics will host an open house, that includes a panel discussion exploring the ways in which calls for open access to academic journals and other scholarly publications, along with the rapid rise of MOOCs, are reshaping our understanding of the university within the broader world. Opening remarks by Laurie Patton, Dean of Arts and Sciences. Moderated by Mark Anthony Neal, panelists include Paolo Mangiafico, Ken Wissoker, Cathy Davidson, and Mohamed Noor. Open House is from 3 - 5, with a reception to follow the discussion.
