The primary role of the summer analyst is to assist full-time transaction teams with financial modeling, industry and buyer research, writing assignments, and an array of other routine analytical and administrative tasks. Summer analysts are integral members of deal teams and are expected to be active participants during their internship period.Full-time Analysts and Associates serve as the day-to-day managers of summer analysts, with direct supervision from the transaction team¿s Officers. While most summer analysts will work for a single transaction team during their tenure, they may also be asked to support multiple deal teams on different assignments.
