Faculty Workshop: Being Intentional About Community Engaged Practices in Course Design

How can we be more intentional about integrating service-learning and community-engaged practices into the core of our courses? On November 19th, Duke Service-Learning faculty will present strategies for embedding engagement as part of course design and give you an opportunity to workshop your own syllabus. Backward design, best practices in assessment, and many other topics will be covered.
