Kamela Heyward-Rotimi holds a joint Visiting Research Fellow position in the Department of Sociology/Anthropology at Osun State University, O¿ogbo, Nigeria, and the Department of Sociology/Anthropology at ¿baf¿mi Awol¿w¿ University, Ile-If¿. She is also an adjunct affiliate in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her book manuscript examines the culture of ¿419¿ (Internet fraud), which Nigerians call ¿Yahoo-Yahoo,¿ and the impact of this transnational underground practice on everyday Nigerian communities.
