WS Graduate Scholars Colloquium

The Women's Studies Graduate Scholars Colloquium provides a site of vibrant intellectual exchange and engagement for graduate students across the disciplines engaged in the study of gender and its multiple social, cultural, political and material implications. The colloquium is designed to address a range of issues emerging out of the work of its participants, as well as, other urgent questions in the field of Feminist Studies. November 18, Erin Arizzi, PhD Candidate, Communication Studies, UNC, ¿Joan Didion, 1968-1979: Finding a Female Way of Being Serious¿, Response by Katharine Costello (PhD Candidate, The Program in Literature) and Stephanie Rytilahti, (PhD Candidate, History). Calina Ciobanu and Ali Mian are the Colloquium Leaders and can be contacted at cac55@duke.edu and aam27@duke.edu for access to the readings on Sakai.
