Need a kick start on your New Year's resolutions? We're here to help. Students for Sustainable Living, a subsection of the Office of Sustainability, will be hosting a New Year's Food and the Environment Workshop open to all Duke students and staff on Saturday, January 25th at 12PM in the Duke Smart Home. The primary focuses will be cooking with local, healthful ingredients, led by Franca Alphin M.P.H., and a discussion of the soil food web and composting, led by Jan Little, director of education and public programs at Sarah P. Duke Gardens. We are capping the number of participants at 15, so please be sure to sign up as soon as possible. For only $5, you can participate in the workshop and get lunch!
