Transcripts and Lifescripts Faculty Reading Group #4

Are you a faculty or staff member interested in joining in conversation about how to support students on their path to integrative education? Want to partake in challenging reading and discussion with your colleagues? Join Service-Learning's faculty reading group!The group is reading Parker Palmer and Arthur Zajonc¿s 2010 text, The Heart of Higher Education: A Call to Renewal ¿ Transforming the Academy through Collegial Conversations. Although discussion will start from the text, reading the book is not a condition of participation. We¿re most interested in the conversation and ideas of how each of us can and does develop our commitments to pursue experiences that integrate our own transcripts and lifescripts; support students on their path to integrative education; and position the University to remove barriers to integrative teaching and learning at Duke.For more information about how to join please contact Rachael Lubbers at rel28@duke.edu.
