Fannie Mitchell Expert in Residence Wendy Marantz Levine '95 will discuss her career journey from attorney to starting the Beauty Bus Foundation in memory of her beloved sister Melissa Marantz Nealy. Students interested in social impact entrepreneurism, health care, beauty industry, the legal profession and start-ups should take advantage of this opportunity to meet Wendy.ABOUT: The Beauty Bus Foundation is a non-profit organization the delivers dignity, hope and respite to chronically or terminally ill men, women and children - and their caregivers - through beauty and grooming services and pampering products. Beauty Bus holds partnerships with several leading players in the fashion/beauty industry who make donations for the patients and caregivers. Prior to founding Beauty Bus, Levine served as Director of Litigation and Pro Bono at Bet Tzedek Legal Services, a non-profit legal services in Los Angeles serving the elderly, poor and disabled. Levine helped create and spearhead the international Holocaust Services Justice Network, organizing attorneys worldwide to provide free legal services to Holocaust survivors. Charitable work has always been a part of Levine's life. She serves on the Board of the Melissa Marantz Nealy Foundation, and on the Camp Committee of Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps. Levine chaired the alumni Los Angeles Women's Forum for Duke University, and previously served on Duke's Board of Visitors and Council on Women's Studies.
