8:30 am - 9:45 am

Scholars@Duke brings together the research and teaching activities of all Duke faculty members into one site. Fed from institutional and other trusted data sources and gathered by a suite of tools, Scholars@Duke includes an expertise network, web profiles, and an archive of publications. Based on VIVO (open source research-focused discovery tool created by Cornell University), Scholars@Duke helps local and global communities connect to Duke scholarship. The Scholars@Duke team holds monthly user group meetings on the first Tuesday of every month from 8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. (Coffee/Water/Soft Drinks provided). Location: Erwin Mill Square Building (2024 West Main Street) in Room A103 (Bay A).We discuss campus outreach events, ongoing development activities, future functionality, and current issues that may impact Scholars@Duke users. These sessions are open to Duke faculty, researchers, Scholars@Duke delegates and power users, or anyone who is interested in learning more about Scholars@Duke (No RSVP is necessary). Your feedback and suggestions for improvement are especially welcome.
