Speakers will discuss the ways that their unique backgrounds, characteristics and interests led them to pursue a wide variety of scientific careers and find success in unexpected ways. They will highlight the notion that all scientists will not have the same approach to a career, and the importance of incorporating your individual interests and strengths as you build a career. This series is open to all students, faculty and staff at Duke interested in exploring different aspects of scientific careers.
