Grab a cup of coffee and join LEAPS and Duke Service-Learning for the second edition of Project Reflect: Who Cares About Durham? (Conversations about service and civic engagement.)Given DSG's recent resolution to support more Durham-themed courses and a Durham-themed FOCUS cluster, plans are in the works to further build a sense of community between Duke and Durham. But why should we care about Durham, when it's much easier to stay within the confines of Duke? How can we possibly have meaningful engagement in Durham, when we're only here for a few years? What do we get out of serving in Durham, anyway?
