Redefining Failure

The Alice M. Baldwin Scholars and the Women¿s Center present an open discussion on ¿Redefining Failure¿. The discussion will be facilitated by Anita Stockmans, Assistant Director at the Career Center, and Sanyin Siang, founding Executive Director of the Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership and Ethics. Our conversation will explore ways in which we tend to respond to failure and how such events shape our personal narrative. Can we choose how we respond to failure? Is ¿failure¿ even an appropriate word, or is it inherently problematic? Do men and women tend to respond differently to failure, and if so, why?
