2015: A Landmark Year for Sustainable Development Finance
Please join Manuel Sager for a wide-ranging discussion on development finance. At two pivotal conferences in 2015 (Addis Ababa in July and New York in September), the global community, under the auspices of the United Nations, defined ambitious goals for ecologically and socially sustainable development for the next 15 years, and identified the roles and responsibilities of public, private, and civil society actors to provide adequate means for their implementation, such as financial resources, technology transfer, and enabling political and regulatory environments in developed as well as developing countries. Sponsored by the Duke Law School's Office of International Studies and the Duke Center for International Development (DCID). Lunch will be provided. For additional information, please contact Oleg Kobelev at kobelev@law.duke.edu. RSVP at: https://duke.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_3yCwFR9vyJ4hTCZ.
