Biology MLK "Doughnuts for Diversity" event

The event's purpose is to meet informally with undergraduates and get your take on what we can do better to maximize inclusivity, both in the classroom and out-- basically, we want to help. Let us stress though that ALL INTERESTED STUDENTS ARE WELCOME, even if you haven't (yet) taken a course in Biology. And for this event, we define inclusivity broadly: race/ gender/ orientation/ religion/ national origin/ etc.

Snacks will be provided. The event will be very informal--attending undergraduate students may literally stand around, eat some snacks, and talk with Biology faculty & TAs one-on-one to express their thoughts. We are pleased to be cosponsoring this event with the BioMajors Union (BMU), the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS), and the Biosciences Collaborative for Research Engagement (BioCoRE).
