We invite you to participate in a colloquium on May '68: New Approaches and Perspectives. The main goal of the colloquium is to bring together, for a day of intensive intellectual exchange, scholars interested in May '68 in France, as well as its sources, parallels, and after-effects, from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. Some of the papers presented will be published in a special issue of French Historical Studies, scheduled for publication in spring 2018, that will mark the fiftieth anniversary of the events of May.

The colloquium will take place at UNC, Duke, and the National Humanities Center in Research Triangle Park. It begins at 5:00 PM on Friday, February 10 in Rubenstein Library 153 at Duke with a keynote talk by Judith Coffin (University of Texas, Austin), "Sex, Gender, Generation: Simone de Beauvoir in 1968."
