Doing Business: Duke's Young Entrepreneurs Meet the World Bank

This afternoon event brings together entrepreneurs from the Sanford School's Master of International Development Policy (MIDP) program and officials from the World Bank's Doing Business project. 12-1 p.m. - A panel of MIDP entrepreneurs from Kosovo, Guatemala and Australia will share their perspectives on opportunities and challenges they face. 1-2:30 p.m. - Professor Judith Kelley will moderate a discussion with World Bank officials on the Doing Business indicators, what they measure, and how they help create an enabling environment for entrepreneurs worldwide. 2:30-3 p.m. - DCID Director Indermit Gill will lead a discussion on creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurship.
