Duke STEAM Challenge Meetup
**This meeting will be in the PhD Lab in Digital Knowledge, Bay 4, 1st Floor**The Duke STEAM Challenge is an undergraduate, graduate and professional student challenge designed to explore new ways that Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics¿along with the humanities and social sciences¿might contribute to one another for the greater good. The Challenge will run August 2013-January 2014. The winning STEAM project will be awarded a grand prize of $10,000. The application system for the Duke STEAM Challenge will open in October. In the meantime, join us at one of our Duke STEAM Challenge Meetups to learn more about the Challenge and how it works, to collaboratively brainstorm and pitch possible Challenge ideas to your peers for feedback, and to find and connect with others that might be interested in joining your interdisciplinary team. The Meetups are open to any undergraduate, graduate and professional students at Duke University interested in the Duke STEAM Challenge. Refreshments will be provided at all Meetups.
